North East Energy Futures CIC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Our commitment

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. That means you should be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser settings.
  • Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen.

Standards we follow

We aim to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone.

What we are doing

  • Ensuring sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds.

  • Testing keyboard navigation and focus indicators throughout the site.
  • Building responsive layouts that work across devices and screen sizes.
